How do I start organizing messages from a new sender?
Did Organizer for Gmail not grab all of the messages you want it to organize? It’s easy to train Organizer to organize more messages.
It’s as simple as labeling a message with an OIB label, like “OIB/Shopping”. Organizer then takes care of the rest.
When you label a message with an OIB label, you are telling OIB to start organizing messages from that same sender going forward.
For example, if you label a message sent from newsletters@example.com with “OIB/Shopping”, going forward, all messages from newsletters@example.com will be labeled the same way and archived in Gmail.
How do I stop organizing messages from a sender?
To turn off the organizing of messages from a sender:
* Log in to OtherInbox
* On the Senders list, find the sender you want to stop organizing
* Uncheck the box next to the sender’s name
How do I stop the Daily Digest?
The Daily Digest summarizes all messages organized by OIB the previous day. If you wish to turn off the Digest, just log in to OtherInbox, click on Settings at the top-right hand corner, and uncheck the appropriate box.
Does Organizer for Gmail affect my existing Gmail filters and labels?
Any existing Gmail filters are not affected.
Any messages that you may have already organized using Gmail labels are left alone.
Because Gmail allows a single message to have multiple labels, the changes made will be adding a new OIB label (like OIB/Shopping) on top of your existing labels.
One note: messages organized by Organizer will archive them in addition to label them with an OIB label. Although you can easily manually remove labels and move messages back to the Inbox if you disconnect later, Organizer does not automatically do this for you when you disconnect.
How do I disconnect OtherInbox from my Gmail account?
To disconnect OtherInbox and your Gmail account, follow these steps:
1. Click on Settings in the top, right-hand corner
2. Click on the link “disconnect” at the bottom of the settings page
3. Click the button “Break Gmail Connection”

How do I start filing messages from a new sender that Automatic Organizer doesn’t recognize?
Simply move a message from that sender into an OIB folder. The next time Automatic Organizer scans your account, you will receive an email confirming that messages from that sender will be filed the same way.
What is an “OIB folder” in Yahoo! Mail?
When Automatic Organizer recognizes a message, it is filed into an OIB folder. These are regular Yahoo! Mail folders with names that have “OIB” at the beginning.
Automatic Organizer ignores any Yahoo! Mail folders that do not start with “OIB” and will not make any changes in those folders.
How do I create new OIB folders for Automatic Organizer to use?
Near your Yahoo! Mail folder list, click the Add link to create a new folder.
Make sure your folder starts with the letters “OIB” so that it will be recognized by Automatic Organizer. Then, drag-and-drop a message into this new OIB folder.
Alternatively, open Automatic Organizer and click the “Add folder” link. Then, enter in a new folder name.
How do I read the messages in my Daily Digest? What is my OIB username and password?
Ideally, we want to make the links in your Digest emails go directly to the listed message right in Yahoo! Mail. We are working with Yahoo! to make this happen.
In the meantime, we have pulled in a copy of the message we organized into OtherInbox, but you will need to be logged in to OIB to view them via the links in the Digest.
The easiest way to log in to OIB is to simply open Automatic Organizer in Yahoo! Mail. This automatically logs you in to OIB.
Your OIB username can be found at the top of Automatic Organizer when it’s opened. It can also be found by clicking “My Account” at the top.
Clicking the “Edit My OtherInbox Account” button will give you the option to set or change your password.
How do I remove Automatic Organizer and stop it from organizing my Inbox?
You can disconnect your Yahoo! Mail account from OtherInbox by opening Automatic Organizer and scrolling to the bottom of the Senders page.
Also, there is a Yahoo! Mail setting to break the connection between any application and your Yahoo! Mail account. Open your Yahoo! Mail Account Sign-in Settings and choose the option to deactivate an application.
